Cari-Med Foundation Brings Labour Day Cheer to Seniors
Employees of Kirk Distributors Limited, Cari-Med Limited and Federated Pharmaceutical Limited worked together under the umbrella of the Cari-Med Foundation, to bring cheer to residents of the Horizon Home for the Aged on Labour Day. The Cari-Med Foundation is the outreach arm of the group of companies owned by Glen Christian.
The crew of over 70 volunteers gave the Home a facelift but also spent time providing personal care services and interacting with residents. A highlight of the day was the presentation of a donation of food, medical and cleaning supplies.
The Horizon Home is operated by the Jamaica Baptist Union.
